The largest is named after the first president of Turkey (named after Kemal Ataturk). In 2008, it was included in the list of the 40 best airports in the world. Its international terminal is 186,000 square meters. m. is the largest in Europe.

It is located in the European part of Istanbul, 15 km from its center.

You can get to the city center in several ways by:

The cheapest, but the longest, way is by bus, which lasts approximately 40 minutes. You can shorten the travel time by using the tram: there is a high-speed tram line between the airport and the central area. Another way to get to the center is by taking the “light metro”. And the most comfortable and fastest, but also the most expensive way of getting around the city is by taxi.

Turkey's airports are located in many major resort cities or nearby. Thanks to this, as well as the well-established bus service, the maximum transfer time from the airport to the resting place does not exceed 2 hours. But taking into account the disembarkation of passengers at hotels and their registration, it can take up to 3-3.5 hours.
