Serbs, a South Slavic people from a country both far and near. Close, because all Slavic languages ​​are similar, and between their speakers, willy-nilly, there is something in common. I can say from my own experience that being married to a Serb is a blessing. Since before him there was a marriage with his own, I had something to compare with. I never felt protected with my Russian husband, I constantly had to decide and correct something.

Here, I could only take a leading role when we came to Russia, simply because he did not know Russian thoroughly, and sometimes I had to translate. In Serbia, I was simply surrounded by care and love. Especially until I learned the language, he came running from work and went shopping with me and even to the hairdresser.

Of course, I was lucky, my friend, there, in Belgrade, also Russian, her husband was stern and greedy, to be honest. He was especially unpleasant when he drank. Mine, when drinking, became softer.

Speaking of booze. Serbs can sit in a bar with a hundred grams of raki all evening. It is not customary to drink in one gulp here, and it is a shame to be drunk.
