The list of persons eligible for drugs from the list of preferential drugs is extensive. Children

According to the legislation in Russia, there is a list of preferential drugs to children under 3 years. Strictly speaking, it is the same list as for the other categories of citizens. The peculiarity of the list of preferential drugs for 2016 is that it includes all groups of drugs. That is, the government did not create separate lists for different groups of the population, and amounted to a single list in which there is all the necessary minimum.

Regional programs

In addition to the federal list, there is also a list of regional preferential drugs. Each entity of the Russian Federation is endowed with the right to independently approve an additional list of medicines issued for free and expand the list of citizens who have tolerance to free recipes.

The quality of regional lists of preferential drugs directly depends on the level of income of the region. Naturally, residents of such subjects of the Russian Federation as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Khanty-Mansiysk, etc. are used by the greatest benefits. A regional list is established, as a rule, by decree of the Department of Department (or Ministries) of the formation of this subject of the Russian Federation. It is worth noting that the Regional Provision Program with free medicines can only expand the list of medicines and subsidies recipients, but does not have the right to reduce the volume of subsidies set at the federal level.

How to get preferential medicine

Medicines from the preferential list are prescribed by the attending physician. The prerequisite for admission to state medical care is the availability of medical testimony.

It's important to know:

• Subsidied drugs are not implemented in all pharmacies. Typically, the Regional Health Department defines a list of pharmacy chains (private companies) with which the contracts for providing the population with free medicines. Having received a recipe for free medicines from her attending physician, the patient must contact one of these pharmacies. Usually a list of pharmacies in which subsidized drugs can be obtained on the stand in the clinics;
