Ingredients

  • 300 gr. prunes
  • 70 gr. hazelnut
  • 2 tsp honey
  • cocoa powder
  • coconut flakes

Cooking method

Rinse the prunes thoroughly and soak in hot water for 5 minutes. Then drain the water and dry the prunes well with a paper towel. If the sweets are intended only for adults, then the prunes can be briefly soaked in a small amount of strong alcohol.

Dry the hazelnuts in a frying pan for 3-5 minutes - this will make it easier to remove the skins from them, and this will improve the taste of the candies themselves (if using already peeled hazelnuts, you should not skip this step). Place the hazelnuts on a paper towel, cover with a second one and rub lightly to remove the skins from the nuts.

Transfer the hazelnuts to a blender and grind into fine crumbs, pour into a bowl.

Place prunes in a blender bowl and grind them into a homogeneous mass. Place prunes in a bowl with nuts, add honey. Mix everything thoroughly.

Form the resulting mass into balls the size of a walnut.

Place cocoa and coconut into small plates or bowls. Dip half the candies in cocoa and the other half in coconut flakes.

    Prune candies ready with nuts.

    Bon appetit!

Making chocolate candies

1. Wash the prunes under running water and dry well with a paper towel. Then finely chop with a sharp knife. You can, of course, grind them in a meat grinder, but it’s more delicious to feel the integrity of dried fruits and nuts in the candies.

2. Peel the walnuts. If desired, you can calcinate the kernels in a clean and dry frying pan. Then chop them finely as well.

3. Combine walnuts and prunes in one container.

4. Mix the products well so that they are evenly distributed.

5. Form small balls the size of a walnut. It is most convenient to do this by hand. The mass molds very well. The candies turn out strong and dense.

6. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a water bath or in the microwave. Do not bring it to a boil, otherwise it will taste bitter. Dip the candy balls one at a time into the melted chocolate and cover the candy on all sides.

7. Place the balls on parchment paper or food foil.

If you don’t have chocolate, you can make the glaze yourself. To do this, melt the butter and mix it with cocoa powder.

8. When all the candies are covered with chocolate, put them in the refrigerator for half an hour so that the chocolate hardens. If time is limited, keep them in the freezer for 10 minutes.

The number of different desserts, where the main ingredients are chocolate and prunes, is quite large. This is no coincidence, because the tastes of chocolate and prunes combine perfectly with each other. In addition, both chocolate and prunes are a real storehouse of nutrients that a person needs for health. How to cook prunes in chocolate with peanuts

Homemade sweets “Prunes in chocolate” are the simplest dessert made from dried fruits. To prepare it you will need:
  • Dark chocolate – 100 g
  • Prunes (pitted) – 150 g
  • Peanuts or walnuts – 100 g
  • Milk – 1/2 cup

Prepare all the necessary products: chocolate, nuts, prunes, butter and milk.

Before making prunes in chocolate, remove the seeds from the dried fruits and lightly fry the nuts. If the prunes are dry enough, pour boiling water over them and leave them in the water for 10-15 minutes. If the prunes are already pitted and soft enough, then you can skip this step.

Carefully cut the prunes in the middle and place one nut in each. Close the prunes and press lightly with your hands to form a dense berry.

It is best to melt chocolate in a water bath or microwave - it is very important that it does not burn or boil. You can also use a double boiler, slow cooker, or a regular bowl of hot water.

Break the chocolate into several small pieces to help it melt faster. Add milk to it and heat it. To ensure the mass is homogeneous, the chocolate must be stirred constantly - use a wooden or plastic spoon for this.

Prepare a sheet of parchment paper or a regular silicone baking mat.

Gently dip each prune piece into the chocolate and place on paper. For convenience, use skewers, wooden sticks or a regular toothpick.

Place the prunes in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden well.

Remove the candies, place them on a serving plate and serve.

If you want to make a festive dessert, decorate the candies to your taste - coconut flakes, grated white chocolate, pieces of ground nuts, and any confectionery topping are suitable for this.

How to make prunes in chocolate using cocoa

This recipe for prunes with chocolate covered nuts is perfect for the holiday table.

  • Prunes - 300 g
  • Cocoa - 3 tbsp. l
  • Oil - 3 t. l
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 2-3 tbsp. l
  • Nuts (any) - 100 g

The peculiarity of this recipe is that cocoa is used instead of chocolate.

Before preparing prunes in chocolate with nuts, the products need to be slightly processed. If there are seeds in the prunes, they need to be removed. It is best to dry the nut in the oven or in a frying pan. If the prunes are too dry, they will need to be soaked in hot water for a few minutes.

Prepare all the necessary products.

Pour milk into a bowl or saucepan and place over medium heat.

Mix cocoa with sugar.

When the milk is hot, add cocoa to it, mix well and bring the mixture to a boil over low heat. When the cocoa boils, add a piece of butter to it, mix well and immediately remove the heat.

Place prunes and nuts in the bottom of a deep plate.

When the chocolate has cooled a little, pour it over the prunes and nuts.

Place the chocolate dessert in the refrigerator to harden.

Before serving, garnish with coconut or grated white chocolate. Bon appetit!

You can also involve your children in the exciting process of making sweets; they will definitely be delighted. Smart mothers know that preparing healthy delicacies solves two problems at once: it teaches children how to cook and teaches them to treat prepared food with gratitude.

Ingredients

  • prunes (preferably with pits) – 200-250g
  • walnut kernels – 100-120g
  • dark chocolate – 150-180g
  • wine – 200-250 ml
  • sugar – 1-3 tbsp. lie

Preparation

Advice. To give the sweets an unusual taste, walnut kernels can be pre-dried for 10-20 minutes in the oven and cooled.

Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt in a water bath or in the microwave. Place one at a time in a bowl of melted chocolate and “wrap” each stuffed prune on all sides. The coverage should be as uniform as possible. Using a fork, remove the homemade Charm candy and transfer it to a plate greased with a thin layer of odorless vegetable oil (to make it easier to remove the candy).

Tip: You can also cover the dish with cling film. Place the finished candies in a cool place until the chocolate has completely hardened.

Be careful. The candies are not very sweet, but very healthy.
And tasty, just for everyone, they are for those who love prunes and mildly sweet treats.
Very good for children!
And these candies are also very easy to prepare!

Ingredients:
200 gr. Prunes (pitted)
6 pcs. Walnuts (shelled 25-30 gr.)
2 tbsp. (10 gr.) Sesame (white)
1-3 tbsp. Honey (with 1 spoon very slightly sweet)
1 tsp Lemon (or orange) zest (I do it without zest)
1 tbsp. Rum (cognac, liqueur) optional
Lenten cookies or nuts - for sprinkling (deboning)

Preparation:
For such sweets, it is advisable to take sweet prunes. If it is hard, you need to soak it in water until it becomes soft.
Place the prunes in a blender (or you can mince them).

Grind until smooth. I draw your attention - if you cook according to the double (or more) option - grind the prunes in batches of 200 grams. The prunes are crushed into a very viscous mass and, when chopping a large volume at a time, the blender can burn out (the knives get stuck).

Place the mixture from the blender into a bowl.
Add finely chopped walnuts and all other ingredients.

To stir thoroughly.

Place the mixture on cling film or foil. Wrap into a sausage shape and place in the refrigerator to cool (at least 1 hour).

Grind nuts or cookies into fine crumbs.
Take the sausage out of the refrigerator, cut it into 16-18 pieces (how many pieces depends only on your desire, what size you want the candy to be).

Roll each part into balls with your hands and roll in crumbs.
